Between the Arts, which operates the art management subscription service "Bijutsu Soko", will start offering a new function for art collectors who use "Bijutsu Soko" to check the reference market prices of their art collections from June 3, 2021. The new function will be available from June 3, 2021.
The newly launched function visualizes the changes in the reference market prices of art collections held by collectors through research based on a unique calculation method using past successful bid data from art auctions held worldwide. By updating the transaction data of future auctions as needed, it enables more competent asset management.
The new art asset management tool will allow users to manage their art online and offline conveniently and appropriately. This will enable collectors and artists and galleries, museums, and all other users who handle artworks to use it as an art asset management tool to solve issues related to the management, storage, and liquidity of artworks.
Art Soko is a free art management subscription service that allows art collectors to organize and list their art collection online by simply taking a picture of it and managing various information such as the time of purchase and the amount. In addition, as a paid service, art collections that cannot be stored at home can be deposited in a fully secured, temperature and humidity controlled environment for 500 yen/month per work, up to a maximum of 8 meters (total height x depth x width).
